Tribute to our Patron J.P.R. Williams, MBE FRCS

We pay tribute to the recent passing of our Patron J.P.R Williams, MBE FRCS.

We, the trustees and committee of the Welsh Charitables RFC are very saddened to hear of the passing of our Patron John (JPR) Williams.

John was a former Bridgend, Wales, Barbarians and British and Irish Lion, renowned around the world which makes this is a very sad day for the world of Rugby.

John was a tribute night recipient at our 2009 dinner, celebrating his illustrious career and a very loyal supporter as our charitable Patron.

He will be sadly missed by the world rugby community, the Welsh Charitables and his family and friends. Our thoughts are with his loving wife Scilla and his family.

John, we thank you for your support, we thank you for your dedication and most of all the wonderful memories you have left us all to remember you with.
