Imagine being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness...where would you turn? Every year, St. David's Foundation provides hospice care to over 2000 people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Most people feel most comfortable in their own homes, surrounded by things they know and people they love, so that's where St David’s provide most of their care - in the home! Over the years St David’s have cared for tens of thousands of families across Gwent. However, they could never have reached this fantastic milestone without the help of local people who have supported them over the years.
Each year it costs £3.42 million to provide their services. This year is the 25th Anniversary and the current Special Appeal is to raise £25,000 towards the services they provide: enough to provide a whole month of nursing care!
