Welsh Charitables Annual Sports Dinner
The first fund raiser of the year has just been announced and it's the annual joint charity sports dinner for the Mayor of Torfaen.
The dinner is being held on the eve of the Wales-v-Italy International at the Greenmeadow Golf & Country Club, Cwmbran on Friday, 19th March 2010. It will be a 6.45pm meet for a 7.30pm sit down. The cost is £35.00 per head, £350.00 per table of ten.
The guest speaker will be the BBC Scrum V Presenter Rick O'Shea, he will be joined on the Top Table by a number of former Wales and British Lion International Greats, namely JPR Williams, David Watkins, Bryn Meredith, Charlie Faulkner, John Perkins, Dai Morris, Adrian Hadley, Richard Smith, Nigel Meek, Arthur Lewis, Dai Parker to name but a few so a great time should be had by all.
In all, no fewer than 8 Charities will benefit, they are namely, Breast Cancer Wales, British Heart Foundation, PROGRESS Prostate Cancer, St Anne's Hospice, WREX (Welsh Rugby Former International Players Benevolent Association) Ty Hafan the family hospice for young lives, The Princes Trust Cymru and St David's Foundation Hospice Care, I am sure you will agree these are worthwhile causes.
